Right To Buy Re-Mortgage (8.5% APR typical variable)

A Right to Buy Remortgage is the process that allows eligible council & housing association tenants to purchase their home.

To qualify you will need to have been a council or housing association tenant for a minimum of 2 years before 18th January 2005 or a minimum of 5 years after 18th January 2005. Getting in touch with your council or housing association will confirm whether you are suitable for Right To Buy.

Once your eligibility has been confirmed, you will be send an RTB1 application form which you will need to complete. This form will be used to work out how much of a discount you are entitled to. This is usually a maximum of 32% for a house and 44% for a flat.
